[Job Description]

1. Ensure Accurate Accounting and Tax Compliance


• Resolve complex accounting issues or support other departments in resolving financial matters
• Provide guidance on expense codes, accruals, invoice processing, and tax documentation
• Perform month-end closing activities, including accrual journal entries (e.g., manpower, A&P, functional costs), accrual list updates/reviews, and cost analysis
• Assist in preparing and finalizing annual financial statements (e.g., Income Statement, Balance Sheet), including liaising with external auditors and managing statutory requirements
• Provide general ledger support and analysis inclusive of period end financial close responsibilities for KGAAP reporting by interacting with external auditors
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate filings such as VAT, withholding tax, and other tax returns
• Ensure accurate expense processing by reconciling tax invoice details issued via Hometax with corresponding entries in SAP for the subsequent month
• Manage banking and treasury operations, including:
✓ Intercompany netting and settlements (e.g., Bank of Korea reporting)
✓ Guarantees of payment
✓ Bank credit limit documentation
✓ Intercompany loans and dividend transactions


2. Support Financial Target Achievement
• Partner with regional finance teams and the KAM team to achieve financial targets, particularly related to cash flow (e.g., DSO, cash metrics)
• Monitor costs closely during month-end closing to ensure budget alignment


3. Strengthen Internal Controls and Compliance
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams (e.g., PwC, tax authorities, Group Internal Audit) to mitigate risk and maintain compliance
• Implement and monitor Financial Control Framework (FCF) processes in line with group timelines and requirements
• Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and deliver training programs to ensure compliance with current regulatory and internal standards
• Conduct regular fixed asset counts and asset list reviews

• Provide finance related trainings to employees as needed


4. Other Responsibilities
• Prepare reports and documentation for Board of Directors (BOD) meetings
• Support legal and regulatory changes such as officer registration updates
• Manage CO₂-related reporting and travel plan follow-ups

[Skills]

  • Experience in SAP and advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge about accounting principles and tax regulations

[Qualifications]

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (accounting, finance or related field preferred)
  • Language: Fluent in Korean and English
  • Work Experience: 7-10 years in accounting and finance
  • Competencies: Ability to clearly and concisely convey complex financial information, Strong ethical foundation and integrity in financial practices, Attention to detail
